NewsDesk feed troubleshooting

Hello! We just discovered that our new WP theme was using excerpts that IMDB considers too short. I've now corrected the problem & am wondering when we will start seeing our content show back up on IMDB. We are NewsDesk partner Channel Guide Magazine. Thank you!

I see that your NewsDesk articles are listed on the site here, however, there are no recent articles listed.  Can you confirm when you made the correction?

I made the correction just before I posted the original question, so probably around 10am central.

Thanks for confirming.  It's possible that our NewsDesk system may need 24-48 hours to catch up with the changes.  Please wait another 24 hours, and if you are not seeing any of your recently published articles on the IMDb site, let us know here and our staff will investigate further.

And, just to make sure my assumption is correct, I assume that only certain news providers show up on the main News page. Let me know if my assumption is correct - I know it's a question my editor will ask me. Thanks!

Hi Ruth -

That is correct, only selected news items will display prominently in the "Latest News" feature on the site (meaning, articles selected directly by our editorial staff). Cheers!

Hi Ruth,

Yes it looks like there is an issue with the ingestion. Can you enable a http endpoint (not just redirect it to https) for us to consume? This should fix the fault.

Any way we can change our feed URL to https? Our host cannot accommodate an http endpoint.
