New television season, same old problem with some data contributors
The new television season is upon us here in the US and I've noticed the same old problem with the way some data contributors enter data for television shows. This mostly shows up for writers credited as "executive story editor", "story editor" and "staff writer". Some data editors want to change the "rewrite" order when names are listed on separate screens. This goes against the directions in the writers help. The "rewrite" order should only be increment when the names are shown with "and" between them.
How do we get people to follow the actual guide? Can we get an employee to reach out and tell these contributors and remind them of the guidelines. So far I've notice this on The Good Doctor and The Rookie but I'm sure it's going to be an ongoing issue and I don't really want to waste my time having to correct these.

Thanks for your message.
Are you able to provide us with specific examples and credits for this issue? Have you tried submitting updates which been rejected by our editors?
We look forward to your clarification.

Hi Adrian -
I have identified the contributor adding the original Writer credit information for the episode titles you referenced; and I have reached out to the contributor to reiterate our policy regarding Writer credit ordering.
Thanks again for the corrections!
