Name change....I am sooooo lost! I have a pro & a non-pro paqe! Please help!!!!

My name is Kristin Mercedes Bence-DePalma. Someone (not sure who) started a page for me in April. I was unaware. Then a director of a film I worked on (whom is IMDB pro) started a page for me as well! I can NOT merge names, although I have tried continuously. I do not understand! There is no "edit page" on my non-pro page. Issue #2. I am NOT IMDB pro...so I can't upload pics, etc on the page that was started for me from Michael J. Lockridge (a pro user)! I am sooooo confused, and have been trying to figure this out for a couple months! Please help me merge names, and have control over the pro page. It has mostly ALL of my work credited to it! Thank you sooooo much! :)

Anyone can submit a name merge request:

www.imdb.com/help/show_leaf?namemerge

However, I can only find one entry for you, so you might not need to:

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm5709748/

Can you give us a link to the other entry?

There is no such thing as a non-pro Page or a Pro page, in the sense you specified. Data on a person is submitted to the database, and this is displayed in various ways. The same data is displayed on the base page and on the Pro page. While there are two pages in the sense that there are 2 separate URLs, they both display the same underlying data. There is no way to submit, say, a credit to one version and not to the other.

It is like the difference between a hard-cover version of a book and a paperback version. Two separate objects, with a very different look, but the story inside is the same.

There is also the Resume Subscription service. This is what would allow you to upload pictures, and each Pro account may control one Resume subscription. But only one. And that Resume can only be maintained by the one Pro account. Note that this is a subscription, so if you do upgrade to Pro, 'claim your page', create a Resume and/or upload pictures, those will disappear if you let your Pro account lapse. (But only those, all the data shown on IMDb's standard pages will remain.)
