Issue with the page for Ayatollah Khomeini

I found today that the former Iranian ruler Ayatollah Khomeini is alphabetized here as if "Ayatollah" was his first name.  It was his clerical rank .   His actual first name was Ruhollah .    I was thinking that maybe he could be listed as "Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini," since that would have both his title and his actual name.    (He has 78 credits here, all but two of them being Archive Footage.)  Any thoughts?  Thank you.

Jason: Standard procedure should actually be to list him as "Ruhollah Khomeini" because Ayatollah is a title, not a name.

Courtesy titles like Mr., Dr., Sir, and degree indications like Ph.D., are not considered part of the name, and are not included in the primary name, even if that is how the name appears on screen. They are included as alternate names.

On the other hand, popes are also listed with the title, such as Pope Francis.

Thanks for your message.

As a general rule, the primary name for a person in IMDb is the one by which they are most often credited. As this person is most commonly known as Ayatollah Khomeini then it is a valid listing. Additionally, I can see that the full name is already mentioned in their biography.

Thanks for your understanding.
