Solved

I noticed something wrong!

Hello there..

There is an Egyptian movie, a spy spoof from the year 1989, entitled in Arabic "العميل رقم 13", or in English "Agent No.13", or sometimes it's written in English the way it's said in Arabic to be "El Ameel Raqam 13". Anyway, this movie has 2 pages in IMDb. This is the first one:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10104992/?ref_=nm_flmg_t_14_act

And this is the second one:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5613796/?ref_=nm_flmg_t_15_act

I believe it must have one page, so I thought of informing you to do that.

Best regards

Ahmed

Ahmed: Thanks for catching this. Since this film is an Arabic-language film, it should have its main title listed in IMDb by its Arabic title (transliterated into English), which would be El-Amil Raqam 13 (based on the current listing). I have no knowledge of the best way to transliterate that myself. I am just going by what IMDb already has.

Here is how you can submit the correction.

Go to the page for the incorrect entry (the English-titled version) at https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10104992/

Scroll to near the bottom of the page and click "Edit page".

On the next screen, scroll to near the bottom of the page. On the Title Correction line, select "Add correction". Click "Continue".

On the next screen, there will be a blank line on which to enter the corrected title. Enter it as:

El-Amil Raqam 13 (1989)

There will also be an Explanation box below that. In that box, enter something like "This is an Arabic-language film and its original title should be entered as El-Amil Raqam 13 (1989). 'Agent No.13' is just an English translation of the title, not the original title. The film is already listed in IMDb by its correct Arabic title, and this page should be merged into the correct entry." Click "Check these updates".

On the next screen, you will get a warning that says, "The new title already exists in IMDb. Are you sure you want to merge this title into El-Amil Raqam 13 (1989)".

That's what you want, so check the box marked "Warning understood, go ahead anyway." Click "Re-check these updates".

On the next screen, your data should appear with a green background, and you should be able to click "Submit these updates".

Allow a few days for the correction to be processed. Good luck!

@gromit82 Well, thank you anyway, but - pardon me - isn't all of that a part of the work of the IMDb's staff? I mean, I'm just a humble reviewer, not - by any mean - an editer, and I think I can't submit any of that on my own (originally, since my first visit to IMDb in 1999, I didn't / couldn't submit any kind of info!). Sure the staff can handle that long mission, with all of its steps, better than me. It's their job in the first place.

@elshikh4 you can make edits as a ordinary person if you can prove what wrong whit a link. I have made over 4000 edits. So do as the other person suggested and it would be corrected in some days

@Sandy Hi, Sandy :) I said in my post: "It must have one page, so I thought of informing you to do that." I believe it's not my job. It's not even my movie. So aside from the fact that they are complicated steps for me, why do I get through them in the first place, while - clearly - it's somebody else's duty?

Elshikh: The IMDb staff doesn't make all the corrections on their own -- they have to wait for contributors like you and me to submit much of the information to them -- because they themselves don't know all the information about every film and television show in every language in the world.

You should submit the correction if you want to do so. But if you don't want to, you don't have to.

Dear @gromit82, I see that my job ended when I showed the error I noticed, and the info I know. After that, it's the IMDb's staff's job, not mine.

Thanks a lot. Have a nice day :)

@elshikh4 Well! Then would it be very littel information on this site if it was the staff duty to find and put up info bout like every movies and dokumemtory that are being made all round the world to this śite. For exampel. The very well known Swedish documentory maker Tom Alandh had only 5 documentorys on this site. Now  from my work has he over 40!  And it is not complycatet. You got the step how to do it. It takes like 2 minute to do. But if you want then the info not going to be updated for some time..

@Sandy I want to ask you about another thing: I don't get any notification, for any replay that my post here has, including yours for sure. I just know about them by visiting this very page. So is that an error from the site, or there is something that I have to fix on my own? Sorry to bother you, but I used to have notification, for every replay, through my E-mail. And now, there is none!

@elshikh4 Go to your page here on the Sprinklr site, which should be https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/users/5f4954dd917fbb5af0457fcf/edit

Near the top of the page, click on "Notifications & Preferences".

You should then see a list of items for which you can receive notifications by e-mail or here on the website ("Platform"). Check the items for which you want to receive e-mail notices, and then click "Save Notification Preferences".
