Hi Dora,

I have a similar issue. Did IMDB ever contact you or email you back to help with your problem?

I had a very hard time to get anyone to respond to me as well. In the end they needed proof that my name was NOT on the credits of an obscure film that I had never seen and could not find a  copy of. Only after I made lots of noise did I find an IMDB employee who was willing to correct the mistake. Definitely not the nest way to treat your base...

Dora: Can you provide more information? In regard to Scars of a Predator, you wrote that you "went to the set", but it's not clear from your post whether you acted in the movie or whether you quit before starting to work there. (I realize that this film has not yet been released yet and has no known distributor, so it's not possible to get the film's credits yet.)

Also, what is the other film in dispute, and did you actually appear in it, and/or were you credited in it?

She acted in the film and did so with great enthusiasm. She also signed a release. I suggest you read the comment I posted on this thread to get a better idea of what actually happened.

Anyone can submit updates to IMDB pages. I've gone ahead and used the edit page button to submit removal of your name from the credits page. The process typically takes up 1 to 14 days for the moderator team to review and make the changes.

Next time you see an incorrect credit, simply use the edit button and submit the change request.

IMDB data is mostly input by users, not staff. The IMDB staff is small and only moderates problems if they are submitted properly.

What is the other film you have an issue with? And are you actually credited on-screen in the other film? They won't remove a credit on a released movie if it is actually accurate to the on-screen credits.

Note: I do not have any affiliation with IMDB

It was not an incorrect credit since she acted in the film, was thrilled to do so, and signed a release. If you attempted to remove her, it was unsuccessful. Too bad she never mentioned this to me (see my comments below). I would have gladly removed her, as I have done. This whole thing is just so bizarre.

Hello Dora:

Someone made me aware last night of this rather bizarre  five month old post, something you never did,  so I'm responding to set the record straight.

First of all, no one in any way "duped" you into being part of the film. In truth, it was you who pursued me, calling me on a regular basis, asking over and over when we'd be filming your scene and telling me how excited you were about the role.

As for Jasmin's fully clothed participation in this non-pornagraphic, sex free film, (she hasn't done porn in a while) you knew in advance that she was going to be in the movie, and even if you forgot, you obviously knew that day since she was standing right in front of you. Why didn't you ask to be replaced? There were several dozen actresses who would have loved to have been moved up from their extra roles to your featured extra role. However,  you said nothing.

After that day, I spoke to you a dozen times between March, when the scene was filmed, and June or July when you posted this. If being listed on IMDB was a issue, why didn't you say something to me? In fact, I was at your house in either June or July. Why didn't you say something then? You know, to me, the person who added you in the first place?

In closing, no "representative" is going to help you since you signed a release. I haven't heard from anyone in the five months since you posted this so you obviously know that by now. However,  I did. I just sent in a request to have your name removed from the film's IMDB listing, though It may take a day or so to go through. As for the film itself, I'm not going to cut out the other people who interacted with you over this bizarre concern of yours so if that segment makes the cut you may have to live with being seen for a few seconds, uncredited, of course.

Andy: Thank you for providing an additional perspective on this situation.
