Hello dru0013,

Thanks for the submission number! I have checked on it and the provided evidence is not valid, therefore we have not been able to verify that your credit is valid. Now we see that the title is already released, the best evidence you can provide is a screen grab from the onscreen end credits of the episodes which you are credited on. We could not confirm the credits are valid therefore it was rejected. Our Help Article has more detailed information for you if needed.

Thanks for finally providing an explanation. I have to say that it seems ridiculous that you can’t accept a screenshot of the original contract. I understand that you need to be sure that submissions are genuine, but I am an established, award winning composer of over 25 years. Do you really think I’m going to lie about something I’ve written? Frankly, it’s insulting.

@dru0013 Not sure this will help, but having a contract with a producer/film doesn't mean you end up being used or credited in the film.  I have done many projects with people that were contracted and for whatever reason didn't use them in the final cut, thus they didn't get the credit.  Contact the producers and find out why you are not credited in the film.

Thanks for your comment, it’s a fair point. I am credited, though. That’s my point. Ultimately it’s bad for IMDb if they don’t have complete information and I will be cancelling my pro subscription if they’re going to be this unhelpful. I am a customer, yet they’re treating me like they’re doing me a favour.

If they actually credited you in the film, then you should just screen shot that and send it to them. Or better yet have one of the producers deal with this.  If you are part of the project and credited they should be able to handle it.

Hi dru0013-

I can see that there was another resubmission for this credit addition that was approved and the changes are already live on the site.

Cheers!

Thanks for letting me know, Maya, that’s the first I’ve heard of it! Well, glad that’s sorted, although they seem to only have attributed one episode instead of the series… oh well, never mind!
