How to associate a video to a title?

How to associate a video to a title? Now the "How do I report video problems?" link within the Frequently Asked Questions does not exist... I have couple of videos that need credit links adding, how to do this? Thanks

This is not as clear as it used to be, sorry.  We are looking at ways of improving access to this feature.

If the video is already associated with at least one name or one title, the easiest thing is to go to that name/title page and in the "Quick Links" menu on the right click on the "Trailers and Videos" link. You can then open the video in old player page which includes the "How do I report video problems" link.  For example, see http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0428065/videogallery and then if you clicked on the first trailer, it would take you to http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi111980057

Thank you Col, but what if the videos in question are not currently associated with any title or persons, how do add the first links? Is there a secret button I have missed? Please advise, again thanks for your time. Francesco

I thought this might be the case ... so start the video playing and then click the envelope symbol to share the video URL via email.  If we do this with the trailer for "Demolition (2015)" which is at the top of the home page right now as an example, this will give you an email message containing:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1172049/?ref_=ext_shr_eml_vi_hm_hp#lb-vi815445273

see the bit at the end starting with "vi" in this case: vi815445273

Take that and paste it to the end of a URL: http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/ so http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi815445273 which will play it on the old page where you can edit the names and titles associated.

So sorry that is so bad at the moment.  We will work on making it easier.

Thanks for this
though perhaps I didn't mention that the uploaded videos are new (a week ago) so the link you mention above leads me back to the same page with no further options as per before because the original link is new. Is there a trick to submit the credentials info for a video uploaded very recently?
Thanks once again for the help.

Are you okay to share the link to the video here and we can see what we can do?

Sure, http://www.imdb.com/video/wab/vi2627253529/ needs associations with its own IMDb title page: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4466408/combined and my profile page: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2168869/
I will be linking another video soon from withoutabox so good to know how its done for future reference.
Thank you

This is fixed for you now (the name pages may take longer to update and I see you use the old slow title pages so they may take 24+ hours too, but the video is now linked for most people already).

Since these are Withoutabox videos, please see https://www.withoutabox.com/filmmaker/faq/detail?section=imdb-title#q4 for details on how to link future uploads.

I don't take advice for granted, thanks for your help and time. Surely everything can be simpler in the future. You have a great website, thank you and all the best.

Hi,
Please associate this video (I know it is currently private, it will be public by 30th October, I would still like it associated now please)
http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi284669465

with this title page
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5773698/

and this profile page
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2168869/

thank you
