How do you add a profile photo to a deceased actor?

I have read the image FAQs. It does not have instructions for a deseased actor profile photo, unless it is assuming I should claim an actor’s profile that doesn’t actually belong to me.

While I can do this as a trial, then quit the IMDBPro, this is not ideal.

Can you add the profile photo to names that are not claimed? Deseased? Or must you pretend to me them?

Hi, James Liu. Furthermore, signing up for IMDbPro, and maintaining an active subscription, just for that purpose would be counterproductive as you may not even be able to obtain authorization to claim an IMDb name page for somebody other than yourself or a client of yours (including a child or an deceased ancestor). For a deceased person, it is really up to the executor of his/her estate to carry out the operation. So, I'd suggest leaving well-enough alone.

Ed, I really appreciate you helping my late grandpa. Will this one work?

Added note: I have an IMDBPro Account, for myself. I’m a previously an actor. Pretending to be another individual, seems much more fraudulent. Likely to trigger the fake account stuff. I appreciate Ed for helping. Please get my grandpa faced :) he’s a big star in Taiwan.

I too wish I could upload an image of my Aunt Gloria Davis, since no photo exists.

Gloria Dixon was her stage name. Davis is her married name. She was in several other shows that aren’t listed either. There is no executor for her. She passed away March 5, 2001.

Jennifer - you should be able to update the shows, information and trivia etc. They will review and upload a day or so later. But no way to update the profile photo. Very frustrating. I'm having the same issue with my Dad.

Upload family members photo. Why is there no way to upload a family members photo on their profile after they have passed? I cannot get access to my Dads password. John Jay Moore production designer.  There really should be an option other than free trail under my name which still doesn't  - allow me access to his profile.
