BTW, Today, on Facebook, I messaged Daniel Cooper Clark, a personal friend of some of the actors in Hare Krishna (1966) Completely unprompted by me, He said that Mr. Wheeler (Hayagriva) is one of them. Here is his reply:
Jonas Mekas's "impressionistic" style makes it hard to recognize the fast-disappearing faces. However, I could pick out Srila Prabhupada, Hayagriva, Brahmananda, a bearded devotee named Rabindranath whom we usually called Crazy Bob, and a nondevotee young woman, Barbara Rubin, a sort of film maker and friend of Mekas. Jonas wrote a weekly column for the Village Voice on the avant-garde film scene and made several films similar to this one. It's a little portrait of the very early days, when the psychedelic + anti-war community jumped right into the "Stay High Forever" aspect of Krishna Consciousness. Thanks for posting it - I think this is the first time I've seen it.
However, even though the other 2 were added almost immediately, Mr. Wheeler, after several hours, still has not been added!:
