Fake Stunt Credits

A while back I made a comment about a lot of suspicious stunt credits that have appeared. Well it looks like it's now hit television westerns.

I am the person who added Chalky Williams, John Quijada, Arnold Roberts, and others as Wagon Train members. They were collecting paychecks and driving wagons. Back then most of the old westerns would hire people who had this ability but they weren't considered stunts, these skills were outlines in the SEG and SAG handbooks back then for upgraded pay.

Well somebody has tried to add all of these people down as stuntmen for the episode and this seems to be a growing problem were one or two people (one I know) seems to be finding these people's names in the cast and just putting them down as stuntmen in these productions when they were just posse riders or barflies.

If you look at the filmography for John Barton, he now has 9 stunt credits when his only stunt credit should be Horror Island. This is common sense because Barton has one leg. In horror Island they needed somebody to walk so they hired Barton who was an extra to double Carillo because Leo Carillo had one leg so they just shot Barton from the back walking and Carillo would do the acting.

If you ask whomever submitted the stunt credits for this title won't be able to produce Barton, and other's names on the call sheet.

I previously did try to to fix these many times. Here's the Wagon Train one for example. Apparently it was blindly accepted they did stunts and now they aren't being removed because you couldn't verify they didn't do it which makes no sense.

I am 99% sure most of the stunt credits come a guy whose name has the initials L.A.  and if it is, an IMDb rep needs to send me an e-mail off of the forum because there's some stuff said that really shouldn't be posted on a public forum.
