Dubbing mixer credits repeatedly declined - 'unable to verify'

Hi,

I've been updating sound department credits for myself and colleagues recently, and while sound editing and foley credits are near instantly approved, any dubbing mixer credits keep being declined as 'unable to verify information' - when I have resubmitted with extra evidence (i.e, been part of the production, and/or are clearly visible in on-screen credits)

Not sure what else to do as they have been declined after providing evidence. These are for names that have plenty of other dubbing mixer credits.

Thanks!

Hi tmercer -

These episode "dubing mixer" credits have now been approved and should be listed live on the site shortly.

Cheers!

Hello,

I am having the same problem getting my voice-dubbing credits approved.  They are for a SAG job for a Netflix series, with my name listed in the credits.  They should be able to be listed on my IMDb Pro page.  Please help!

My declined contribution numbers are:

#201122-230825-087000

#201122-231031-776000

Thanks!

Not really same, this thread is about dubbing mixer (crew credit), your problem is about a cast credit.

And sorry but your credit is not eligible. Dubbing credits are only allowed for animated titles and video games and only for English dubs.

No foreign dub credit is allowed for live action titles.

Only original cast credits are allowed.

Thanks so much for your quick reply~

Why don't my credits count?  What is the reason?

It's for a SAG job on a popular streaming service.

You're welcome :)

Why don't my credits count?  What is the reason?

It's just IMDB's rules, they don't allow foreign dub credits. Think about it, if they allowed every foreign dub credits, cast lists of movies would be a chaos with hundreds/thousands of casts listed for popular movies.

They do allow for animated titles and videogames on a limited basis tho, with condition of it being English dub for a USA release.

But your credit is dub for a live action title, so not eligible for now sadly.

You can read voice credits section on this page for more info: https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/filmography-credits/cast-acting-credits-guidelines/GH3JZC74FVYKKFMD

Dubbing credits for foreign languages are currently not eligible to be listed in the database.

Even if the credit isn't eligible under those guidelines, it may still be allowed in the Additional Credits on IMDbPro.

Thank you both for your replies.  Much appreciated!

I think those rules need to be re-examined.

As for the case of listing many members of casts, Netflix does this easily at the end of each episode.  This shouldn't be any harder for IMDb.

Since IMDb allows voice dubbing credits with condition of it being English dub for a USA release, then my credits should also apply, since mine were also for the USA release.

Where would you put it in the additional credits section?  I didn't see a section for film/tv.

Thank you~

But your title is not an animated title or a videogame. That exception only applies to animated titles and videogames. For non-animated titles, no dub credits are allowed at all.

Where would you put it in the additional credits section?  I didn't see a section for film/tv.

I think you can do it with this link: https://pro.imdb.com/mypage#resume

Those would only appear to IMDBPro members tho.

Hi I have been trying to add two art directing credits and both have been declined.  The first is art director on the Untitled Ray Romano Feature and the second is on the Untitled Nick Wooton Jake Coburn Project.  Both of which were also submitted by the production.
