Credit glitch

Several TV series not giving credit - I have place the episodes worked in along with correct series title, but keep receiving the same response; "Credit has been rejected" I am a union member and have proof of work form each production - so there is no reason for this credit to be rejected. Please help -

What I mean to say is IMDB has not recognized the credit for these series or the series have not made note with IMDB that I was associated - either way it's a glitch.

Sorry to hear about this. Did you follow the advice given in https://help.imdb.com/article/contrib... — if so, please post the 18 digit submission reference numbers of the rejected credits from your contribution history located at https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/h...

Hi, Bek Harvey. Seems as though the information you've entered into the submission form may be improperly formatted. Could you please tell us the whole error message or post a screen shot of the filled-out form?

It still says "Credits have been rejected and can not be mapped".

Yes, the message generated by the system is somewhat misleading, Bek Harvey. This is because it has interpreted your input as an episode titled "212, 213" (for the costumer/wardrobe department) and "401, 402, 403, 404, 408, 409, 411" (for the makeup department).

Bek Harvey, you can populate the "Episode(s)" field with properly-formatted data, by clicking the icon in the upper right corner of the "Episodes(s)" field's cell, and using the drop-down menu to select the titles of the episodes to be added. The format of the field is not a set of comma-separated numeric values but rather lexical values separated across lines of text; lexical in the sense of each one being formatted like...
Title of Episode (#SN.EN)
...where SN stands for season number and EN stands for episode number.

Even when I selected for the "first time credit in the costume department it still gives the error you see below on the second submission under hair department.

Bek Harvey, what you're trying to illustrate is appreciated, but a screen shot of the index of the contents of your e-mail inbox is of no obvious use to the IMDb Community. (Regardless, you might want to consider avoiding [if possible] having so many web browser tabs open.)

I didn't expect such a response and and guide to understanding this better. I really appreciate it - what a great tool.

Bek, check the credits of the episodes you know you worked on. If you were not credited on any of them, update the epsidoes with an '(uncredited)' attribute in the attribute box and delete the rest.

I just don’t want any to get in trouble, for trying to help me. When I don’t even know what I’m doing.
