No Status

Credit additions are not working.

I've attempted to add two credits to my page that are both credits with pages that exist in IMDB.... a Netflix show called BEEF and a pilot called Going Legit.  My credit is not yet listed on the BEEF page, but it IS listed on the Going Legit page, but neither is on my page.

When I type them in on the edit page, they show up as existing and then I highlight them as the correct choice.  When I click to send the change/addition the space for the show name changes to just the name with a bunch of question marks (example: "Beef?????").  Seems like a system error.  Can you help?  Thanks.

I assume you are talking about "Beef" (????) and "Going Legit" (????) , both of which have question marks instead of years after the titles, because neither of these shows has a release date yet.

Can you please provide further details? What is your name, what is your IMDb page, what jobs did you have on these shows, and what episodes did you do those jobs on?

Thank you.  I am Peter Breitmayer. https://pro.imdb.com/name/nm0106998?ref_=hm_nv_usr_profile

On BEEF (Netflix)I was a Guest Star playing "Investigator" on episode 108.

On Going Legit I was a Guest Star playing "Gennadi" in the pilot.

Peter: Looking at your page on the free IMDb site at https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0106998/ , I see your "Going Legit" credit listed at the top of your Actor filmography. And on the Pro site at https://pro.imdb.com/name/nm0106998/ it is listed too, albeit at the bottom of your Past Television section, even below a TV movie you did in 1990.

I don't understand why a future television show would be listed in your Past Television section on the Pro site. But if it makes you feel any better, the exact same thing is happening for other "Going Legit" cast members such as Jeremy Luke and Michelle Burke. Their "Going Legit" credits appear at or near the top of their filmographies on the free IMDb site, but at the bottom of the Past Television section on the Pro site. Perhaps the IMDb staff will be able to explain this situation, and if they don't, I might start a separate thread to ask about that.

With regard to "Beef", you should be able to submit your credit to the episode just as you would to any other episode. (Note: If you have been trying to start from your own name page to add the show title as a credit, I recommend instead starting from the episode page to add your own name as a credit there. It's usually easier that way.)

Go to the episode page at https://www.imdb.com/title/tt16265714/ and click "Edit page".

On the next screen, on the Cast line, select "Add 1 credit". Scroll down and click "Continue".

On the next screen, enter your name Breitmayer, Peter and your character Investigator in the appropriate boxes, and then click "Check these updates".

On the next screen, your data should appear with a green background, and you should be able to click "Submit these updates".

Good luck!

thank you so much for the help.  I submitted the Beef edit.  I'm less concerned about the Going Legit.
