Correct syntax for Producers entries where there is a company name mentioned

Sometimes on-screen credits use a phrase such as "Executive Producer for the BBC". Am I correct that this should be recorded in IMDB as "executive producer: BBC" (no "for" and no "the")?

I'd understood that any company name or any country should be separated by a colon from the job title "executive producer: Masterpiece" or "executive producer: France".

I ask because I see other submissions transcribed exactly as written, rather than being modified to IMDB house style, so it set me wondering which is correct...

Hello martin_695862,

We list the credits as "executive producer: BBC", separated by the colon as you have mentioned above. Some live items might be showing incorrectly, we encourage users to submit the corrections so we can have the correct format.

A house style should preferably be stated in a guideline. It could probably also be enforced with a warning in the edit feature.
