Contribution History Page & Loading Issues Fixed

Contribution History Page & Loading Issues Fixed

Hi All,

I wanted to share with you some great news regarding the contribution update history page and the loading issues that some of you have been experiencing in the last few months. If you had a large number of contributions then sometimes your contribution history page (https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/history) fails to load and you had to refresh the page several times. Additionally the loading speed between each page was slowed down by the large amount of contributions.

Our technical team have now fixed the loading issues you have been encountering and you should no longer have to re-load the page to check the status of your contributions or wait a long time to navigate contribution pages. If you notice any further issues regarding this or have any other feedback then please feel free to let us know.

Thanks for your efforts in keeping IMDb accurate and updated and thanks for your patience while we looked into this.

Michelle

Hi Act_1 -

I have forwarded this feedback to our team, at this time the update is for the non beta interface.  Please let us know if you are experiencing loading issues on the Contribution History Beta page.

Hi, Michelle:

I'm glad that problem (which I have never experienced, truth be told) has been resolved. Unfortunately, the real big problem with updates with a large number of contributions, and which I reported in this thread exactly 2 years ago, remains outstanding.... Would it be possible to address it once and for all? It is very frustrating. Thank you very much!
