Combinations of characters!???

So, as of today I'm facing this issue. Not sure if I'm the only one? I'm unable to add actors to episodes, because the website automatically converts the names to some weird characters and is impossible to go forward. If a name contains symbols (^~´` or ç) it gets rejected. Why is this!?

I end up getting the following message: contains combinations of characters which are not permitted in IMDb names.
