change to release date rejected

I tried to make a change to the release date of our film from 2018 to 2019 and it was rejected. I provided more information as suggested but I think it requires some involvement by staff to update ... not only the release date but also the title to ensure it is reflected there (which from what I see, it's always automatic or timely).

Marc,

Please post the 18-digit reference number of the submission so an IMDb representative can review the update and respond.

Hi Marc,

Thanks for your message, our policy is to reflect the year of the first release, as the title won an award in 2018, that is the correct year of release for the title page.

Thank you for understanding.

Hi Will, Thank you for your response. It was a private submission and no festival has seen it yet. Can it be removed so the date can reflect our actual submission into festivals?

Hi Will - any chance you can see if the award can be removed so the date can reflect our actual submission date into festivals this year?

Hi Marc, I have the same problem... First time I submited my film was in 2017, but it was never exhibited and I decided to change the edition... I finally finished my film during last year, 2 years after the date that shows up in my IMDB page and that's a problem, because it's not the same movie!!!
