Beyond frustrated - Credits denied

I have submitted multiple credits. Some credits with the same form of verification have been accepted and some denied.
I am very confused why there is inconsistency.

#211230-231819-588000 - I have provided screenshots of the actual SAG report of my pension records, list the job, year, production company and session numbers.
Many have already been verified using this method. yet these are being denied. what gives?

#211230-182825-064000 - There more credits waiting for review - However two have already been denied.

It could happen to you. Was initially called "It only happens with you" that is what is stated on my work proof. This is the same production. Please see corresponding date that matches date of production.

Cosby Mysteries - The movie was initially labeled as "Guy Hanks" this has been denied as well. "NYPD criminalist Guy Hanks retires from the force" is taken from the description of the movie.  Cosby Mysteries Movie (Pilot) is the same production

Please rectify

Hi dancingelklucas -

Concerning these updates, I can see that there were some formatting issues.  Specifically, you submitted your cast credits with the character name as "Actor".  Ideally you will need to include the name you were referred to on-screen or a c=brief description of your role (ie. "dog walker", "postal worker", "singing man", etc.).

Additionally, if your name was not credited on-screen you will need to include the "uncredited" attribute.

You will need to correct the formatting, specifically regarding the character role and the attributes (if applicable), and resubmit for our editors to take another look.

Cheers!

Hi Michelle,

I do not believe that to be the issue. As I left most "Blank". Which according to submission criteria, is the correct way to submit if you can not recall what your character was.

According to rules..

If you're submitting a Cast credit, you'll have the option to include some more information:

Cast credit addition example

  • Character - The character played by the cast member in question - if the character name is unknown it can be left blank. If the person is appearing as themselves (i.e. in an interview or a documentary), then 'Self' should be entered here

if I leave character blank and list uncredited. I received this, This credit has been rejected. You need to correct this credit before it will be accepted.
    • You must provide a character name/description for uncredited cast members.

Also the rejections stated they could not be verified. Even though all credits are using the same source for verification.

Please reply.

Hi dancingelklucas -

My sincere apologies for the delayed reply.  I can now understand the issue, as the character field was blank, and I suspect this is the reason why the credits were declined, as our preference is to either list a character name or brief character description.

If you are still experiencing issues listing your credits, I would encourage you to ensure that you fill in the character field accordingly.
