That's definitely the issue here. CuriousUserX90, please note "just because a character mentions Bond/Harry Potter/Frodo/etc. does not mean a reference to a specific Bond/Harry Potter/Lord of the Rings title or even all of them." This of course also goes for King Kong. In other words, if a title refers to King Kong, there's no movie connection you can add, unless the reference is to a specific King Kong film (which most of the time, isn't the case).

Have you read my earlier reply in this thread? These titles should NOT be listed in the movie connections page for this Ducktales episode. A *general* reference to King Kong is NOT a reference to a *specific* appearance of King Kong. (see: https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/titles/movie-connections/GNUNL9W2FTZDGF4Y#). In other words, how do you know if a reference to King Kong is a reference to the 1976 film and not a reference to the 1933 or the 2005 film? If you don't know, you can't add any King Kong title to this Ducktales episode.
I advice you to read the guidelines and submit deletions for these movie connections.

Whenever there's a moment of climbing a building, climbing a building whilst carrying someone, and swinging at airborne things surrounding the building, that's something that parodies King Kong. The fact that people worked hard on them is totally irrelevant. If something is wrong, it should be fixed or deleted.

We shall leave the movie connections on every DuckTales episode be, there's 50 episodes and the movie connections on all 50 of them have already been up for months. I'm beginning to regret bringing this up, especially as they did finally manage to go up after my attempt to repost them on Monday last week.

If you don't want to look bad, play by the rules IMDb has made for their database. I've pointed them out to you. Have you read them? Do you understand them? Do you see why the movie connections you talked about should NOT be listed?
The fact that other people/websites have an opinion on IMDb is fine, they have a right to, but that doesn't change the fact that IMDb is a database trying to have as little errors as possible.

This is the last time I'm saying this, these DuckTales movie connections are not getting deleted, and no more replying to this page which I'm asking to have deleted. Is there any part of that that you don't understand?

I was not even born when IMDB first came to be you know, not everything posted to IMDB is even my doing, it would've been too much for me, these Movie Connections post stuff that no even I knew about, nothing that had been on IMDB before 2015 is my doing. This is not true. You've been pointed out a rule set by IMDb and you choose ignore it.

I do know what I'm doing and am very well aware of IMDB's policy, but you had no right to think posting such movie connections was a waste of my time, something you can't do anything about. What has been wasting my time though is having to deal with something only you're telling me about on this post that I don't wish to be around any longer.
