All my credits have been uncredited

Hello, bar my recent productions all my previous credits have been uncredited. I am on the credits so not sure why this has been done? I am talking about 20 productions. Literally happened over night?

My profile https://m.imdb.com/name/nm5242362/fil...

I can’t go away and take screen grabs of every single one of these production credits. How does someone make a credit uncredited with the wrong evidence?

Thanks
Sophie

Here is an archive of the page without the "uncredited" notations, from 2017.

The existence of credits without the "uncredited" attribute does not validate that they were indeed credited. Just perusing her credits and I'm going to guess the vast majority of them are uncredited (meaning they did not receive an onscreen credit, not disputing she worked on such titles). I edit a ton of television shows where there can 20 or more credits in the art department alone that are listed but not credited in the show and not marked with the "uncredited" attribute. Considering her credits are mostly "costume standby" and the like, I'd doubt they were listed in the credits.

The only recourse would be screen caps of the credits showing her in the credits.

Hello I am ‘her’.
Thank you for his response.
I have watched my work and seen my name on the credits for the majority of my work. A lot of the tv shows and being the only individual working that position ‘Costume standby and the like’ I am often listed. Maybe he doesn’t know what that position does. In the Uk they are credited.

It’s a lot of screenshots, most of which are shows that I won’t be able to get anymore but I will try and hunt them all down.

Thank you for his help.

I know it is a lot of screenshots, unfortunately, that seems to be IMDb's way. I also understand non-American shows have a lot more credits (not just British but also the few other foreign shows I've been able to watch). I happen to have Howards End on my DVR because I haven't gotten around to watching it. I can confirm that you are credited with "costume standby",at least in the first episode but I'd guess in all 4 episodes.

Sometimes, it takes a few days for a staff member to reply but maybe they will have an explanation of what happened.

Hello, thank you for your guidance to fibbers.
Having a community help group Seems to allows aggressive responses from people.
Do you know what a costume daily is? Yes this work will probably be uncredited as you work an odd day. I understand that. Much the same for people when they start out. I understand that. Interesting you decided to choose on one of my first credits.

Also you seem to have a way of easily finding credits to screenshot which you have shown in response. Maybe you could be helpful and suggest how you got such an old tv show?
Many of my jobs won’t be easy to find screenshots for but I will be going back so you can reassure yourself I’m not fibbing with all your explanation marks.

Thank you for your long helpful response.

One question here is that did the person who submitted the ”uncredited” attributes (in the first place) provide any proof? There are several credits, so why we assume that they’re all ”uncredited”? Sure, some could be, but I would reserve my judgment until I know more.

I asked this on one of my previous threads. How does one provide proof of the absence of something? That question still hasn't been answered and the credits still haven't been updated for The Good Liar. It seems we are once again in a lull of support.

Hello, thanks that’s kind of been my question from the start. It’s just interesting how it got jumped on as me being a fibber. I have managed to find the majority of my credits (Atleast the ones I haven’t had to pay to Watch to hunt down) so I’ll just send them to IMDB itself.
Not really up for this being a debate and hearing people’s squabbles. It’s bizarre and unhelpful.

Sophie, I doubt anyone is accusing you. ”Uncredited” credits happen all the time, so it’s just normal to have them in the filmography (and usually the production companies are making these decisions and/or mistakes, not the person him/herself).

Yes thank you. I am fully aware how the crediting happens and how production companies can edit them and make mistakes. I work on film sets thank you. I just wanted to know how over a short period of time the majority of them turned uncredited. How does that get processed. That was all.
