A film I made in 2010 shows up 1st on my page (ahead of a film from 2014), how do I fix this?

It shows up as:

Eight Short Sketches About an Ordinary Man (Short) (producer) (completed)  2010
Good Luck Have Fun: A Canadian eSports Story (Documentary short) (executive producer) / (producer) 2014

Instead of chronologically decreasing like this:

Good Luck Have Fun: A Canadian eSports Story (Documentary short) (executive producer) / (producer) 2014
Eight Short Sketches About an Ordinary Man (Short) (producer) (completed)  2010

How do I fix this? Thanks!

Has Eight Short Sketches been released? It's listed as "Completed" but not as released. Titles not yet released usually show at the top. It lists a 2010 release date but its status is "Completed." Did you try to update the status to "released?"

Thanks for the reply. I think that's the problem, but I can't figure out how to change that. I have a release date...shouldn't that be enough? I'm confused as to why it still says, "Completed" when it's also listed as released, you know? Any help is greatly appreciated :D

If you view the title page in its IMDbPro view of the page, you'll see that they are two separate items:

Details

STATUS Completed (updated Nov 7, 2014)

RELEASE DATE Feb 2010 (Canada)

 COUNTRY Canada

LANGUAGE English AKA Eight Short Sketches About an Ordinary Man
The two items can be updated independent of each other. Simply adding/changing a release date won't change anything in the Status section. It'd have to be changed also.

I just submitted a request to update the status to "Released." That should rectify the entries being out of chronological order.

Amazing, I believe I found the option as well...it seems it is an unlisted option, and I had to check off the box for, "Make changes not listed here" or something along those lines. Thanks for looking into this, helping me out, and putting in the request :D

That's one way to get there. I just went to the page for that title, into Pro view of the page, then clicked, under the text I pasted above, "see all details" and then clicked the "edit page" button and chose to add a new status. You also have to be in IMDbPro to edit that particular section.

I am not sure how long it takes to go through, but if it doesn't in a few days, we have staff take a look at it to see what problem they're seeing. Shouldn't be a problem seeing as it has the release date listed which means it's been released.

You're very welcome!

Gavin,

The status now shows as "released" and the order is now correct.
