2 listings for the same title.

I've discovered a double listing for the same title. I looked up a NOVA (PBS TV) show titled "Judgement Day: Intelligent Design On Trial" and found
title/tt2145757/?ref_=fn_al_tt_7 also title/1143530 . The first does not mention NOVA but is obviously the same as the second which puts the word NOVA at the front of the title. I voted on one of these before discovering the second listing. Will you combine these listings or drop one? Or is there a good reason for having two listings for one title.

Tricky.

The first one is a 2 hour TV special:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2145757/

The second a 54 minute show as part of a series called Nova:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1143530/

This seems to happen with other episodes of that TV series:

This is the episode after that one:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1373172/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1239116/

However, there wasn't a similar pair for the episode before.

It might be someone couldn't find the TV episode in search:
http://www.imdb.com/find?s=all&q=Judg...

So entered it as a standalone documentary, but then it doesn't explain the difference in runtime (unless a 54 minute show was 1 hr 6 minutes of adverts, I suppose).

That first 2 hour TV special was NOVA. I know because I watched it that night. Don't you find it odd that they both have the same release date.
I have discovered edited versions of this NOVA on Youtube, but I doubt if PBS ran an edited version.

Despite appearances, the 54 minute running time is listed for the Nova series and not for the specific episode.

There are sometimes double listings for practical reasons, such as covering a film that later became an episode, but at a glance, it doesn't look like that there is any good reason here.

I'm sorry if it seems I'm being picky about something that probably doesn't mean s**t to anyone else. Let me prove to you that the 2 hour show is the one that should be titled NOVA.

You only have to watch the 2:20 to 2:40 mark. Come ooon. I'll give you a star.

A star you say??

More important that the 2:20 minute mark is the run time - which is 2 hours. That clinches it for me - both examples I link to above should be merged into the relevant TV episodes.

Agreed; have you submitted corrections?

So who gets the star? My lord and Emperor or public broadcasters network. Emperor put this last message in as a comment. There are no stars on comments, only in replies.

I have submitted a request to merge the Judgement Day: Intelligent Design On Trial special into the episode. No stars necessary.

I will not submit anything for "Master of the Killer Ants". It seems to be an original French production, so it should probably not be listed exclusively as a PBS episode.
